Postdoctoral fellow, Driver Safety Research team, CHOP

Are you interested in big data, injury prevention and public health? Please see our posting for a postdoctoral fellow within our Driver Safety Research team at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention, a Center of Emphasis at CHOP, in collaboration with Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania. We are seeking applicants with experience and expertise in analyzing large datasets and health record data, with an interest in further training in public health and health policy research. You will be fully integrated into an exciting multidisciplinary team of experts in pediatrics, psychology, urban planning, cognitive neuroscience, data science, epidemiology, statistics, adolescent risk, and developmental psychology. This team conducts cutting-edge research focused on reducing the leading cause of injury in adolescents: motor vehicle crashes. At a policy level, you will be intimately involved in and lead translational/applied research that directly informs changes in young driver policies and adolescent preventative care. At a foundational science level, you will also have the opportunity to advance the science of young driver crash risk.
